“Spike” grew up in the Adirondacks, graduated from Central City Business Institute, hired on as a part-time tour escort for High Adventure Tours in Syracuse and two years later became President of the company.
He is a long time member of the National Tour Association where he served as president for two years and subsequently wrote and published a book on its history. Clients of his tourism consulting company have included Opryland, Illinois tourism agency, the country of Mexico and General Mills.
He spent five years as President of Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance, a 1300 member association, marketing and promoting tourism to and within the 9000 square mile Finger Lakes Region.
In addition, THG is the lead provider of tourism marketing research and development for the new $25 billion Destiny USA complex on the banks of Onondaga Lake in Syracuse, New York.
Bryin has been a professional photographer since 1995. During that time he has photographed in myriad venues from high school sports and NASCAR races to commercial properties and countless weddings and social events. His photos have appeared in several newspapers, magazines and websites.
His emphasis is on providing high quality digital images that capture the essence and personality of the subject whether it is people or a specific location. This, combined with his attention to detail and total customer satisfaction, makes him uniquely qualified to photograph your next event or commercial shoot.
Bryin was born and raised in Central New York and currently resides in Fayetteville, a Syracuse suburb, with his wife Judy and 10 year-old daughter Chelsea Lynn.
Kirk is the editor, writer and researcher for our many varied programs. He spent 21 years in Christian-school teaching, marketing and administration before tackling museum leadership. For six years he blended history, administration and marketing at the Glenn Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport.
In addition he is adjunct professor at the Dansville campus of Genesee Community College. He has authored 11 books and lives in Bath, NY with his wife Joyce and they have two grown sons.
